Wizkid Wins Best African Act At MOBO Awards 2011

Just last night popular Nigerian act Wizkid Ayo Balogun won the 2011 Music Of Black Origin Award Ceremony, popularly known as “MOBO Award“,which was just concluded in Glasgow, Scotland. Wizkid Ayo Balogun scooped the “Best African Act” gong ahead of the likes of Seun Kuti, D’Banj and South Africa’s Liquideep.In doing so, Wizkid has set a record of becoming the youngest artiste to ever claim this huge award. He now joins the line of past winners likes of 2face Idibia (2007 ), 9ice (2008) and Nneka (2009) in the record books as past winners.
